Plan the nights. Then the days.

Choose your Andaman itinerary: 4 to 7 days

For a short break, focus on Port Blair and Havelock. With five nights, add Neil without putting the return ferry on your flight day. Compare where you sleep each night before deciding how many sights to fit in.

Port Blair is also called Sri Vijaya Puram; Havelock is Swaraj Dweep and Neil is Shaheed Dweep. These are adaptable example routes, priced for your dates.

Each example returns to Port Blair for the final overnight, then flies out the following day. That is an overnight gap, not a full extra buffer day or a guarantee against disruption. Ask for additional time if your dates or connections need it. Ferry moves count crossings between overnight islands; a local boat excursion would be additional.

Leave space around the transfers

An arrival day is not a full sightseeing day. Keep a late flight arrival simple, confirm the next ferry before fixing hotel nights, and leave room for changes. An extra Port Blair overnight helps separate journeys; it cannot make a disruption impossible.

Choose what matters most

A boat excursion, a dive and a beach visit do not all have to happen on the same day. With children, older relatives or a short stay, remove an activity before compressing the travel. Discuss extra time before departure if your onward plans are inflexible.

What will this itinerary cost?

Dates, rooms, ferry class and selected activities determine the quote. A five-night plan for two sharing a room cannot be compared directly with a family total. Use our trip-cost checklist to compare the same inclusions.

Itinerary questions

How many days are enough for Andaman?

Choose four or five days for a Port Blair and Havelock trip. Six days allows the three-island example here: two Port Blair nights, two Havelock nights and one Neil night. Seven days adds a Port Blair-based day. Choose the pace and islands first, then match the flight dates.

Can I visit Neil in a four-night trip?

The four-night example here stays on Port Blair and Havelock. Adding Neil means changing that route and reducing time elsewhere. Ask for a separate plan showing all four overnights and the return connection rather than assuming Neil is an extra stop that fits unchanged.

Can I include the Baratang limestone caves without adding a day?

Once it is sailing, yes. Makruzz published a 5:45 AM Makruzz Pearl sailing from Port Blair for the 2026–27 season that stops at Baratang for the cave visit and reaches Havelock at 1:30 PM; on 5 October 2026 our Port Blair team said it had not started, and the operator expected to begin between 15 and 20 October. The four-, five- and six-night examples here use it as the Port Blair to Havelock move, so the caves replace the plain crossing instead of a separate road day through the reserve; if it is not running on your date, that day is the direct ferry. The ferry does not return to Port Blair; if you must sleep in Port Blair that night, ask for the road day trip instead.

Is the last Port Blair night a full buffer day?

Each example returns to Port Blair for the final overnight, then flies out the following day. That is an overnight gap, not a full extra buffer day or a guarantee against disruption. Ask for additional time if your dates or connections need it.

Can I take a ferry back on the day of my flight?

These examples do not depend on a same-day island ferry and outbound flight. A delayed or cancelled crossing can affect your onward flight. Discuss any different connection before booking; an early sailing does not guarantee that you will make the flight.

Are all the activities shown included?

No. The day descriptions help you plan; your written quote specifies the activities, tickets, meals and transfers included. Sailing availability, arrival times and local conditions can change the order.

Make it your trip.

Send your dates, group size and room preferences. We will put the route, inclusions and total in writing.

Quotes are valid for 7 days. A quote does not hold rooms or ferry seats; confirmation follows the advance payment stated in it. Our best-price match applies to a like-for-like written quote. Read the booking terms.

Route examples updated 28 September 2026 (Baratang sea route added to the 4-, 5- and 6-night examples); ferry status added 10 October 2026. Activities are planning choices, not confirmed reservations. Your written itinerary and quote govern your trip.
